Kurt J. Tichy, O.D.

Dr. Kurt J. Tichy is a native of southern Connecticut and currently lives with his wife and children in Orange. He attained a bachelor of science degree in honors physiology and neurobiology from the University of Connecticut in 1989. Dr. Tichy went on to attain his doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Tichy has been serving the greater Stratford area for over 14 years. In May 2006, he opened his own office, Oronoque Eye Care Inc.

Dr. Tichy prides himself on giving each and everyone of his patients a thorough and honest eye exam. He always takes the extra time to explain his exam findings to his patients and makes sure all of his patients' questions are answered.

Ms. Shirlean Alston, Optician

Shirlean has been serving the Stratford area for over 19 years. She brings a wealth of optical knowledge and an innate sense of style to Oronoque Eye Care. Shirlean will always greet you with a warm smile whether you are coming in for an appointment or just a frame adjustment.

Sarah, Paraoptometric

Sarah, while relatively new to the optical field, has been a quick learner and hard worker. She has filled many roles in the short time that she has worked at Oronoque Eye Care. In addition to working full-time, Sarah is also going to school full-time studying for a degree in human services.
